Order Processing
- All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- During peak periods (e.g. holidays, sales, or special releases), processing times may be slightly extended.
- Orders placed after cut-off times will be processed the next business day.
Shipping & Delivery
- We currently ship within 20km of Brisbane, Australia only.
- Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location:
- Metro areas: 1–3 business days
- Shipping is carried out via trusted courier or postal services to ensure safe transit of live plants.
Live Plant Shipping Conditions
As orchids are live plants, special care is taken when preparing your order:
- Plants are securely packaged to protect roots, leaves, and blooms.
- Some flowers or spikes may be trimmed to ensure safe transit.
- We aim to dispatch early in the week to avoid plants being held in transit over weekends.
Weather & Seasonal Considerations
- Shipping may be delayed during extreme weather conditions (heatwaves, cold snaps, storms) to protect plant health.
- We may contact you to reschedule shipping if conditions are not suitable.
Delivery Requirements
- Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
- We recommend providing a location where the parcel can be safely left if unattended.
- Formosa Orchids is not responsible for:
- Incorrect addresses
- Missed deliveries
- Damage due to parcels left unattended after delivery
Shipping Costs
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on location and order size.
- From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping promotions.
Delays & Carrier Issues
While we work with reliable carriers, delays can occasionally occur. Formosa Orchids is not liable for delays once the order has been dispatched, but we will assist in tracking and resolving issues where possible.
Damaged or Lost Orders
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive:
- Please contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery
- Include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the plant and packaging
We will assess the issue and work with you to provide a suitable resolution.
